YES!! as i said i think the loss of sissoko made us lose our freedom in the midfield, everytime sissoko plays, Alonso has more freedom to whip in great balls forward

we miss sissoko

not only does he allow our more creative players like the gerrards and alonsos to express themselves but he also gives us a very powerful edge in the midfield aswell as making the team a overall more solid unit.

sissoko has been missed of course but if we want to challenge in the future we need to overcome such set backs. We all know the strikers our about as reliable as a peado in a nursery but there is not much rafa can do until the summer so to all the people saying wake up rafa and all this bullsh.it there is nothing he can do apart from on the training ground and that must be horrendous with the likes of cisse.

people have become overexpectant after the champions league win, thats to be expected because our clubs heritage demands success but for people to start moaning about rafa when things arnt so rosey is well a disgrace, hes still only in his second season and we have come on leaps and bounds and we are by no means the finsihed article yet. We are still in transition and the signs are there that with a few adjustments we will be a great side. Am sure most of us at the beginning of the season would have took 3rd in the prem and we are still on course for that and 2nd is not gone yet. we are still in the fa cup so its not so bad. Look where we were when rafa first took over and were we are now!

We are doing well, we still have the F.A cup

I blame that lot at Soho Square, should have flung the bitters in the UEFA Cup we would still be in the CL now if they had done the right thing and would'nt be feckin knackerd.

you can whinge all you like about how we play, but whats Rafa gonna do to sort it for the next match?

not much. probably a recall for morientes.

Arsenal are a weaker side, with younger players, no Viera anymore but they can still pass and move well.

some of our players cant because its all down to quality. and some dont posess any.

Henry proved again that in the premiership he is miles in front of anyone else,now that is what you call world class.........
As for us its quite amazing how we have played since Christmas its as though the team has been cursed or something...
Its ok everyone slagging the strikers off (me included),but apart from getting Mellor and Pongolle back from loan spells there is feck all we can do until summer.IMO we will finish top 4 but even 4th place is going to be a battle.

ok rafa, when hes on form has the potential to be best manager in the world! however, his line up today startin off was pretty good altho id prefer fowler to be up front with crouch and gerrard on the right wing! Lookin at the bench, he had moro there instead of cisse, what the f*ck was that about, what wud moro bring to the team if we had to bring him on? at least cisse for all his inabilities has a bit of pace, something that wud actually worry the arsenal defence, that we cud have thrown him on when arsenal were pressing and we cud have created good counter attacks! thgat was a big mistake rafa, i dont know what the f*ck moro was doin on the bench, he needs to get booted out of liverpool and sent to play for tenerife cos he's on a bloody holiday with us at the mo!

garcia was awful today, ive seen him play bad plenty of times but today he was absolutely shocking! His control and distribution were shyte! and when he made a mistake he start waving his arms all over the place like its someone elses fault!

gerrard has started to try n do everything himself again, the way he was last season when he tried doing everything and hence players felt obliged to give him the bal, he went for the killer pass everytime, but his mistake for the goal was just a mistake so he has to be forgiven!

Im also pretty p*ssed off with a lot of people on the forum saying how much we miss sissoko and how good he is, i remember a few weeks ago there was a topic started with loads and loads of people slating momo, well now u can see what he brings to the team all the hard tackling and running that we've missed in the centre of the park since hes been injured!

the truth today is that arsenal played us off the park today and they didnt even have a first choice eleven playing, they were missing a few players such as ashley cole sol campbell lungberg went off reyes van persie, god only knows what the score wud have been if they were playing! if we were missing that many players wud we be as confident replacing them as arsenal were replacing their players, not a chance, our strength in depth altho it has improved, is still not good enough!

someone said earlier at least we only have 9 games left, thats dead right cos the way were playing and strugglin to score we will struggle to get 4th!

altho harsh: crouch garcia warnock traore morientes cisse (altho he isnt gettina chance up front) potter mellor le tallec (none of them can cut it at other clubs!) all need to go and quick! and the jury is currently out for kewell hyypia (great servant but past it) carson

might be a doom n gloom post but the truth hurts!!!!! :angry:

I agree Phil we are a team running on empty right now. I also agree very much with the posters who have said we miss Sissoko. We do, a lot.
It maybe time to stick a couple of kids on the bench (Anderson maybe) and bring 'em on in the last ten minutes. Enthusiasm and nervous energy can be infectious and may provide the spark we so badly need.

yep hopefully sissoko will be back in 2 weeks time, he would add alot to our team.

I think that benitez dont knows wot he is doing sometimes
he is a world class manager but just some times he baffles me and i feel like im banging my hed against a wall
why leave cisse at home and bring morow
why sell owen and try and ring him bak 4 twice as much we mite not be in this situation if he never sold owen and god knows y he plays morientes

Altho cisse has been shyte a lot of the season, I seriously think hes getting treated badly at the club, hes not a right winger dont play him there, its making him look worse, give him the same chance that moro got up front and if he doesnt cut it then offload him, but hes hasnt been given a run up front for ages and personally i think he has a bigger killer instinct that holiday nando and crouchie (who for a 6.7 freak, cant hit the target with his head from 7 yards!

I was annoyed when benfica played us off the park, but two games running to get totally destroyed is a joke!!!! questions need to be answered and rafa needs to be supported with hard cash to overhaul the lack of quality at the club!
