kewell will go soon as will traore.
The only people remaining from the GH era will most probably be riise, hyppia, carra and gerrard.

Hyppia because he is hard to replace and will go on for some time and Riise, because he is class though underrated.
Carra and Gerrard on the other hand are the fans favorites and represent the face of the club  :buttrock

Finnans future depends on the performance of his replacement...and A.Barragan.

Flo will become surplus requirement if we get a RW and defoe(or another striker).

Probably down to the fact they are the only ones good enough to stay.

Cisse and Traore are awfull footballers, hence the reason they struggle to get in the side. 8 goals against :censored: sides in the early stages of the champions league and 2 goals in a super cup against a rubbish side doesn't convince me or most people poor players like this are good enough for this club.

When you're at the match and these players have the ball you constantly sit there tearing your hair out wondering first and foremost why players in the top league of english football struggle with basic control of a football, then not only that they then fail to find a pass to there team mates on the one occassion during 90 minutes they control the ball.

Examples, Cisse would never in a million years set Gerrard's goal against Newcastle up in the same mannor, Cisse could never and would never play the same part in Luis Garcia's goal against Real Betis as what Crouch did and he'd never do inside the box what Crouch did against Luton, he'd lose the ball in probably all cases.

Good players are involved in scoring goals on regular occassions, weather is a simple pass and movement to start a move, a good ball, a well controlled take and feed into a runner, skillfull play, players like Crouch don't always get direct assists however they often pass to players with good peices of skill or good passes to players who do direct assists.

Statistics lie, Statistics don't tell you how many of Sissy's "14" goals where down to good finishes. The goalkeeping for everyone was at fault with the exception of Everton and i supose i could give you Anderlecht away aswell. Even the Everton goal was down to poor basic defending rather than great when the defender slipped.

Statistics don't show players shitting out of a chance to put the ball in the back of the net against Sunderland if you have the balls to put your head in where you might get a kick, having watched strikers like Owen, Fowler and Rush it infuriates me to see cowards like Sissy who are scared they might get a tap on the head.

He's a distinctly average player who struggles to control the most basic of passes. How anyone can defend him is beyond me...

Seeing the charlton match; i think all the strikers (except robbie) must be sold out as soon as possible when window period comes if appropriate-reasonable price are met: no more moro, no cisse, no crouchie  :veryangry

then we'll be having no strikers?
who cares? can it be worse?

beside we still have robbie, pongolle, mellor and still can manage to get one other (whoever striker in EPL or elsewhere -won't be worse than those three)

The finishing was bloody awful by the strikers when they had the chances, and even that is being mild on them, with the exception of Robbie who is clearly not yet fully fit.

Luke Young's goal (even if this is a flash-in-the-pan)should be the kind of finishing these guys need to show, week in, week out.

Anfieldadorer, I really pity the travelling fans who spent money and precious time to get to the Valley and see such toothless display.

Of course we in South East Asia only had to wake up at 3:55 am to watch the match, and it is not so bad as Liverpool's travelling fans...

I think this is what infuriates all the supporters and the majority of the staff/players, Liverpool are `used` to having atleast 1 top top class striker and another 1 that is class plus has something else to their game.

Rushie scored whilst parking his car ffs !

Infuriating is an excellent word here.

Robbie needs to shed some pounds and is not really at ideal fitness nor sharpness. But even then, he showed good all-round improvements in his game and did set-up his partners well. I can't wait for him to break his duck in this second stint at Liverpool. I hope he wins a contract extension.

With a bit more time and hard work, he'd be scoring again, which is more than I can say for Cisse or Morrientes. Crouch will never be a prolific scorer of a bucketloads of goals and he does contribute in other useful ways.

Fowler scored when City beat MU on 14th Jan. Can't compare with the last time he scored for Liverpool, not a fair comparison at this stage.

I think Djibril and Nando have problems witrh settling!! They better leave this summer. Peter started well and he can offer us solutions as a target man. As for Robbie we all love him but if we want to win the premiership he can only used as a Backup. In my opinion Rafa must keep Peter and Robbie and bring to Anfield two world class strikers! Such as:Dirk Kujit,M.Owen,J.Defoe,L.Podolski,D.Berbatov. Anyway Rafa knows better..........

Good plan .. First let sell your playmates and once we got the money , we buy all the world class players .

Sorry bro, just pull your leg.

First of all, it's NOT rafa style to buy expensive player. He only buy player with the right price.

I said that we need two world class strikers and i just proposed some alternatives!! Of course we can't afford all of them!! Rafa knows better which players must bring but we must start scoring with our strikers don't you think? And with Djibril and Nando I can't see it coming!
