The Premiership - General Discussion

15 million is a lot of money, but not for this player IMO. and arsenal need to sign payers to ensure that henry will stay so they will go for it.
if anyone can spot a good bye its gonna be wenger to be honest and this walcott lad has the pace and ability to be a snap.
Always gonna be a risk but for footballers nowadays 15 million isnt the end of the world considering how much we played for the spitter from senegal
and i wouldnt say arsenal are no longer a threat to us either, thats a little bit disrectful to say the least. Id say they are a bigger threat than the mancs. if we were to play the two id fancy beating manure more but at the moment id fancy our chances against either

The next big player to come from Liverpool is Adam Pepper, he's our Anthonys mates brother, He is 12 but plays like a 15 year old.
West Ham had him on trial offered him a contract of 15 grand a year but he went down there, brought some mates spent all kinds on the Hammers expense, and came back to Liverpool.

He is an evertonian, but Liverpool want him to sign for the youth, under 12s but he is so far advanced in his game his dad wont let him.
Heighway is a regular at his house, brought him some signed Gerrard stuff the other week and boots.
But his dad wont let him come to us, not now anyway.
This lads 12 the Hammers offered him 15 grand a year, so if they are offering this sort of cash for children when this lad hits the headlines in 5 years time expect, these ex amounts of 10-15 million, will probably be 20 million in 5 years time, if no wage caps are brought in.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Southampton have denied these report's and said that a fee has not been agreed, Rupert Lowe said it was the first he'd heard of it. Let's sit back and see what happen's, there's still time for us to snatch him yet.

To be honest, I'll be gutted if we don't get him - if he's a true red then he'll do the right thing. I can't understand anyone who say's that but turn's an oppertunity down to play for us.

Judging from his comments in 442 he is a Liverpool fan and why not want to play for his favourate club? I dont think Rafa will want to pay more than 5 or 6M at the most. Which in all honesty is all a 16 year old even with his talents can be worth. You have to think of it from R.Lowes point of view. Hes one tight :censored: and if hes sees more money from other clubs then he will push the bou in that direction. I just hope if Theo really does want to play for us then he makes it known to all his agents and advisors.

Wengers on SSN now and it looks deffo that walcott will be signing him, he said its a massive gamble paying so much for such a young unproven player. But he is very interested in signing him, he has spoken to Southampton.

I'm not taking anything literally until it happen's. Wenger has also spoke about his interest in signing Emmanuel Adebayer who is also a striker, so there's still a glint of hope.

Please Rafa pull out the stakes on this one.

Wenger has denied that a deal is close...

Maybe because he is talking to us too?

We should sign him if he wants to come to us - this lad is potential dynamite.

Yeah, in my eye's he'd take the Premiership by storm. People with his kind of pace make life easier for themselves ( although Cisse sometime's suggest's otherwise ), I sincerely hope the boy comes to us, I really do.

He`d be wasted at Arsenal.Wenger works magic with foreigners, but has an inability to work with young British players.Walcott would put himself under needless pressure by agreeing to a big money move to London. He`d be far more sensible moving up north and let the tribunal sort out his transfer fee.Southampton will end up with about 3m which is more than fair for a sixteen year old.
