Goodbye zedane - International retirement

International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

Postby zarababe » Thu Aug 12, 2004 11:37 pm

As Zedane retires form international football.. it's timely to pay tribute to the best player of his generation... AWSOME simply sums it up :)

There is no player that stands out at the moment.. is he the last of the breed of truly great players.. so many prima-donna's are earning too much too soon, and loosing in some cases the passion and skill to develop into the Pele's, Maradonna's and Zedane's of this world.

Goodbye and Thank you Zeezou for entertaining us and proving that you were one of the best when you played on the biggest stages of world football ! It's been a privilidge :)

Zidane is the best player of his generation, probably the best midfielder of all time. sad he won't be at the world cup in 2006, just have to see him team up with MO at real. :(

I'm not surprised by his international retirement. If only the old Real squad combined with the new one, then Real would be something.

If he`d tried a bit harder he could have become the new Bruno Cheyrou.
