The first team to qualify for Champions league football. with a negative goal difference.

Congratulations.

I know its kind of funny, but we're the bigger fools to laugh seen as though they've actually got 4th spot ahead of us, it just shows how poor we've been this season in the premiership.

i know i`ve had a pint but i would congratulate everton, negative goal difference et al. at the start of the season i honestly thought they were going down, or were going to be pretty close to going down at least. they lost talisman rooney and influential gravesen at critical parts of the season but still managed to ride out the storm. yes, they were lucky we had so many injuries and other clubs who are normally challenging for champions league spots like newcastle had absolute shocking seasons but all in all moyes has performed a minor miracle there. i think he`ll struggle next season with expectations increasing ten fold but for now - well done.

if i was david moyes and a bigger job came along, i would be away from everton like a shot.

why? because i'm afraid from here mr moyes, THE ONLY WAY IS DOWN. :p

even the likes of the newcastle job (if souness got sacked) he should take, because as much turmoil as the club is in, and as much of a kn0bhead as the chairman is, at least he is guaranteed to put his hand in his pocket and provide a lot of funds for the new manager.

p.s. just popping this over here

.. only 3pt diffrence..

the negative goal diffrence bodes well for Everton in the two legged play-off.. for CL qualification (proper)..  :D

.. ummm 5-0 to the others in the qualifiers ..  :rasp
