yes dont get me wrong i am over the moon with that side of it, i dont think us slowing up is the teams fault, not many teams have been asked to do what we have done in the last few weeks.

We have Bolton in 2 days and Man U have just done them 4-1, Bolton will be on looking to get some points and i am starting to feel as if we are slowing up a bit, too many miles and too many games.

Does this mean Johnbull will be coming on later. The other half of the GLOOMsome twosome  :D

yes, you're right, but the reason we didn't is because their keeper played a blinder.  I'm confident we'll beat Bolton and maybe Rafa will play Hamman or Momo for Alonso.  He seems to rest him now and then.

lol, what do you think.
I am not unhappy about today, i just feel that we have been doing hell of a lot in the last few weeks, we need some easy games to rest some key players and there easy games now.

Well well hello Lakes, see your happy self is here again  :D

That was an excellent performance against a team who came to defend and hold out. Yes we should have scored more, but we didn't and we are sound in the back to win WELL cos we ain't conceding. OK.  We won very well without the emphatic scoreline .. only

All football commentators have been purring about a performnace today, we won by 3 the other day, so today we win by 1 all = 3pts, 10 straight wins.. we are on the up and a roll enjoy it

Oh and BTW the Mancs, who you go on about in today's game, drew with the Brummies the other day, just reminding you in case you forgot..

You're a hard fucker to please aren't you? It's been difficult for you to complain about anything as of late, but it seems that you can find anything to nit-pick and moan about.

West Brom have gotten results against top sides before, they did it against Man Utd and Arsenal last season. They just beat Tottenham at home two days ago. They came to Anfield with a point and their goalkeeper put on a world class performance.

Of course we're slowing down, not because we are exhausted or don't have the ability to step up a gear, but because the players know when to shift gears and when not to. There's no need to burn energy on putting 5 goals past West Brom when there's Bolton on Monday to play.

When you play 4 games in 8 days then we'll see if you're going to be in 3rd gear in all of those games.

Bolton will give us hell, it will be the most difficult game since we've played Chelsea at Anfield. Comming from a trashing they will be in a dire need of a result, and they are playing at home. They are dangerous in the air and with set-pieces, so we need to be careful with that.

Hopefully the game will not be called off, we need to keep the momentum going but it will be very difficult.

Happy 2006!

Sorry to reach late to post some comments about the game, I've had big party last night and went to bed at 8.30 am.

Well, I saw the game semisleeping with a terrible hang over.

Not many comments. WBA was not as valiant as Wigan, they were much more conservative. They had the line of defence deep, and were not giving much more metres in the middle. Gerrard had some difficulties to find his usual shots due to this.

But this is to be expected, a 0-0 in Anfield, must be a good result in any team's book, we should expect more of this.

But we signed up Crouch for this. What a header. Great Cross from Kewell too.

This game without Crouch, could have perfectly been one of this frustrating 0-0 that you dominate but you don't win.

For the same reasons above, the last game wasn't a proper game for Cisse, not many space to develop his pace.

Cheers mates!
