Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Houllier made some bad mistakes with the team selection but the players who are on the pitch are not giving it their all (with the exception of gerrard and Kewell for the five minutes per game he decides to play football) at any point.  And all except Gerrard are not giving it their all through the whole game.  f##k the manager may not have put the strongest possible team on the pitch but it could be concievably reasoned that he was resting players for the Man U game but thats pretty stupid.  And no matter what team he puts on the pitch the team has to play for each other and put some fcucking effort in.  Houllier needs to put the best possible team on the pitch but (for the third time) they have to put effort in.

First, he bought the players (most of them anyway). He makes the team selection and he selects the game plan. If players are underperforming even at this level and at a great club like ours, it means he can't motivates them no more, then the buck stops firmly at his door. After 5 seasons and >£120M he should make no excuses and leave honourably.
Like I say before, the players are no longer playing 100% for him, and I am sure they share the same frustration as most of us eg, why is he playing Biscan, Cheyrou and Heskey regularly???

My prediction: 7th place finish ... if we are lucky

Good to see all the guys back again....By the way the reason i havent got my posts up to 2000 yet is because my pc was out of transaction for ever..:)
Dispite popular belief that not all the blame should be heaped on GH who else can be blamed? eh,Let us think,Mr Moores for employing GH,Then GH for employing all the secret Evertonians and manc poofs running around on the sacrid turf,And then last but by no means least the optician that gave him his glasses, should have gone to spec savers at leats he might be able to spot talent.
But on a serious note do any of you guys think what might happen to us IF we do do get into the CL? eeeerrrrrrggggg(shudders of horror)We might get crushed and loose the ounce of respect we have left..
Gerrard Houllier must go withought delay HE has become more of a burden than the spice boys which once walked our famous steps to the Anfield turf...
Let us pray.....

Made the trip up fot the game yesterday + also came up for the Charlton game on Monday. I only get to Anfield 4/5 times a season if i can get the tickets. It has been a lot easier to get tickets this season! I simply can't believe what Houllier has reduced the Anfield crowd to - you could hear a pin drop at times yesterday and there was an air of inevitability about the result once the penalty had been missed. Sinply can't believe Moores and Parry will allow this to go on next season. If they do it will be taking an enormous risk - Houllier belives that the pressure will be less if he is given another season, that is rubbish, the team would be under immense pressure in the 1st few games of next season if Houllier is kept on.

Looking at the table it is very possible we will finish in 8th place this season. How are we doing in the fair-play league this season?

As for leaving Baros on the bench again, only Houllier knows why. Houllier talked of how we missed Baros over an over when he was out injured. He called him a 1st choice striker, almost as if he was saying Heskey was only playing coz Milan was out. Now the guy is back and showing some sparkling form he doesn't get a look in. Crazy.

Is there a correspondence address for Moores or any avenue in which he might listen to the views of fans? I think we should all write him a letter :(

It would be great if Liverpool had that connection between the fans and the board like spurs then the fans could tell the board how they feel. do we have that ?

Liverpool do still have chance of 4th.
were still 4th on goal diff. and newcastle wont beat chelsea saturday we have to get something from old trafford which i hope or am sure we will.
