never mind, we'll look elsewhere. Benfica are trying to get more than he's worth anyway, hence the fact their demand of 8 million jumped up to 12 on the final day of the transfer window in the summer.

Yes there are better out there but at what price. Can't see us getting Joaquin for £8-£12 million. Besides Simao is not as bad as people are making out. If we can't get Joaquin, then who else? I've heard Pennant's name being mentioned, but is he really good enough?

I think we should make a move for Dario Srna, he wouldn't cost more than 5 million and he can defend and attack well. Younger than Simao and highly rated.
