Watched the Deport v Milan match last night and the quality of football played last night was beyond anything Liverpool can even imagine. We do not have anything near the quality required to play football laike that. It was just a total pleasure watchin the passing and movement and skill of that match. Even little thing like playing their way out of touble at the back keeping the ball instead of walloping it upfield aimlessly initing another attack (Riise). The one touch football.... god it just shows how far Liverpool have regressed

For F U C K S sake are you people taking the p#ss or what. How the f##k can you say we have never performed in the Champions League. Get the F U C K off this forum please people.

Roma, Anfield, Liverpool need to win by two clear goals to get thru the group stage into the next round. What happens, a magical night at Anfield, Liverpool thru against arguably one of the best teams in Europe.

Our First go at the Champions League, Quater Final's are reached, where we are knocked out in a high scoring epic encounter with the eventual finalists, who had star players like Lucio, Ballak and that exciting turkish winger (who's name escapes me right now).

Utter F U C K I N tosh saying we have never performed.

Also, the reason there are such high scoring games in the Champions League is most Continental sides employ the Kevin Keegan Management style, Defence is s##t but attack is great. If they score 4 we will net 5.

We are not that far away from Porto, Monaco, Chelsea or Deportivo, so dont give me that boll ocks.

Liverpool's toughest opponents always bring out the best in us, that's why I think we can do alright in the Champions League.

Deportivo played some of the best football I have ever seen last night.

They are a shining example to us: we have more resources than Deportivo and we should aim to emulate their brilliant play.

I'd say we're a long way off that if we're getting knocked out of UEFA by the likes of Marseille. Can you really imagine Igor Biscan playing in the champions league?

At the end of the day we are a diffrent side.

We aren't about being pretty. We're about bein effective. Sadly the last two seasons we haven't really been either but i think with the right additions over the summer we'll get back to being the latter of the two which suits me just fine.

Playing "pretty attractive football" doesn't interest me in the slightest. I am sick of people calling for "attacking football". i want winning football.

Liverpool arnt even good enough to get to the final stages of the uefa cup so what chance to we have in the champions league! we'll be alright against mediocre sides from europes lesser leagues but versus the big boys of spain and italy we dont stand a chance. we simply do not have the technical ability and skill required at the highest level, and theres only one reason for this, Gerard Houllier

That game was one of the best i have seen for a number of seasons, as previoulsy mentioned all out attack through-out the game! Some of the passing and movement was ferking brilliant!
