I gave into temptation and downloaded the first 3 episodes of series 2. I have to say its getting very interesting

JJ Abrams and damon Lindelof the makers of it have said it isnt purgatory.

i have finally watched the entire first series and the first 4 episodesfrom america and all i can say is WOW!!!!!!!

My first thoughts about what is actually going on in lost were that it might have something to do with the Bermuda triangle or something along those lines (although my geography is :censored:

and I don't even know if their flightpath between Australia and the States would have crossed that zone).

Might explain why no one seems to be looking for the lost plane or the survivors, they just can't find them. The legend goes that planes and boats down the years dissapeared of radars etc over this region of ocean and no one could figure out what happened. Personally I think it's a load of bollox but I think that this is what Lost is based on.

It might also explain the french woman on the island, she seemingly has nothing to do with the other survivors, yet she is in this place too and has been for 16 years.

I still don't think it rules out the same sort of idea in Lost though, I reckon it's a similar idea to that

Well sadly they are taking a 3 week break (of the 2nd series) and when they return there will be a death among the losties -the question is who and how?
