joaquin is world class. Can beat anybody but we have to be realistic we are lfc not chelski and im sorry stu but we cant afford 30m. 15m is pushing us, what if he got injured we would blow our whole war chest on one man, its a very danherous game to play for us at this present time. We posted lossess last year and the cl win would have negated them and houlliers pay offs both players and staff. We are starting from scratch again.

Simao isn't the answer.

We lack pace and power going foward. A;so intelligence.

we should be scouring the world for quality widemen. Im sure not only simao and joaquin are our answers. The network rafa has at his disposal must be able to find someone else. He was only saying a few months ago how he had scouts in south america africa and eastern europe working full time so pull your fingers out you overpaid f.uckers.

Lets face it people!Raffa aint gonna say 'I want Joaquin'
If he does pull off a signing with such an over stated gift and an equally embelished price i will be disgusted at him!

Are you all daft in the head??

Raffa will look and see who he feels right and they will come to the Pool!
Why???

Because Raffa says so and that is his job!

If fuc.kin Saddam Hussain was the leading goalscorer in say Serie A you'd all say i want him hes good him! Look what he done in Italy!!!

I guess what im really trying to say is,football is bigger than the Media, papers and  speculation! Calm down all!!

Raffa is nobodys fool!!!

Especially not the fans!
PATIENCE!!!!!

Even if Rafa wanted Joaquin, I doubt that we would have the money to buy him. 30 million pounds isn't something one grows on trees.

10 million Euros + Cisse for Joaquin
-http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_sports/view/172045/1/.html

MADRID : Liverpool were reported to have offered Betis Sevilla 10 million euros plus Djibril Cisse for attacking midfielder Joaquin.

The 24-year-old Joaquin, 4 goals in 33 internationals, has been with Betis for the last five years, sports daily As reported Thursday.

Cisse, who recovered from a broken leg to play in Liverpool's astonishing Champions League final triumph in May, has spent most of this English Premiership season warming the Liverpool bench after a mooted move to French side Marseille fell through.

He joined Liverpool from Auxerre for 14 million pounds last year.

Simao has plenty of pace, and is pretty intelligent on the ball as well, he would be a good option. However Joaquin has a much better all round game and is a lot more powerful/strong than Simao.

Joaquin is the answer, but it's whether we have the money to get him.

There are reasons to believe that Benitez would fancy Jaoqin - he is a real wide player, he is bloody good, brilliant in fact, and he is Spanish.
I am being mean on the last point but actually I like Rafa Benitez as compared to Houllier.

Jaoqin will be expensive. I saw the Anderlect-Real Betis match and Jaoqin was awesome.

Oh great that leaves us with an amazing strike force of Crouch, Morientes, Pongolle and Mellor
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
