Plan b - New striker

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

If you read a proper newspaper you won't get fed all this bu11shit transfer speculation. "newspapers" like the star thrive on sensationalism and factual content takes a back seat as a content. Wasn't it a tabloid that claimed Ronaldinho was 99% certain to join manure? One of the last few times I have had the misfortune to read the Mirror it claimed Hoddle was on his way to Reading.........
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

I read a few newspapers and also the occasional tabloid. You'll note the caveat about the Star talking boll##ks on my post.

Being a reader of quality journals I'm sure you'll know what a caveat is

Or in Stu's case, talking boll##ks....

Back to footy it is then  :D

No matter what Cisse & his agent tell the tabloids I'm still not convinced about his level of commitment to LFC

I was impressed with Drogba the other night despite wanting to smack im one. I liked the way he bullied our defence the way Heskey could and should bully our oppostion each week. Would have to see more of him before deciding whether i would like to see him in a red shirt or not.

On the subject of Cisse, one of my students (a footballnut who watches lots of Eurosport) was raving about Cisse the other day. He said he was very skillful + quicker than Henry. I haven't seen enuff of the lad but i'll be excited if he does.

Quicker than Henry? lol doubt that mate.

Henry defines pace. End of.

Cisse is one hell of a player. He is very quick, strong, decent in the air, has good technique but a questionable touch and oozes confidence.

He will improve our team next season and i am looking forward to seeing him in action. The problem is he has about 5 games to adapt before the fickle ba#ta#ds who like to be associated with the club but don't actually support it write him off.

I'm looking forward to next season and will be very glad to see the back of this one.

Spot on . If only Heskey had some devil in him . Can we get Duncan Ferguson to give him some tips on how to intimidate the opposition.
As for Cisse , despite our moaning when the fella finally arrives we will of course make him welcome . After that it's up to him.

I don't want Drogba to play for Liverpool, no way! He is knobhead and cheat! And no more fcuking French peasants to join us, had enough of that!

Kezman would be absolutely class if we could get him. I think though that our problems don't just lie with strikers. We need a right winger, I'm a big fan of Dennis Rommedahl and should he become available, I'd love to see him in an LFC shirt. More importantly, we need a new system.

I've caught quite a few matches from the Dutch league on late night Channel 5. Has to be said that every single one of them has looked like a bad Nationwide League match, so I really wouldn't get too excited about any goalscoring stats from over there.

I trust that this isn't one of your best students - I've watched Cisse about 10 times this season on CanalPlus and have watched the WHOLE match. Believe me this man is NO Henry and is not the type of player we need at this important time.
I keep saying it, the problems are far more serious than the playing staff and until we have a board and manager working together soley for the benefit of Liverpool Football Club we are going nowhere!
