Rumours are rife that LFC are looking at a possible plan B to Cisse.  . Rumour has it that if Houllier goes in the summer and Cisse calls off the deal, PSV's Kezman is next on the list for LFC. Anyone heard anything on this? Whaddya think about Kezman at LFC anyway?

He is very good player but i rather have Forssell cos he is a Premier League player and know the English football very well, Kezman may be struggling if we get him, so we cannot afford it to make a mistake.

he's one of the most sought after talents in europe. i heard barcelona were interested. last season he scored 38 goals in 35 gaves for psv. no chance of us getting him realistically though. i think cisse is almost a done deal whether any of us like it or not.

If the rumour about Marseille wanting Diouf is true, I'd be tempted to try and swap him for Drogbe + cash. He dominated our defence over the two UEFA legs, and from what I've seen of him in a few other matches, this was no fluke. He's certainly impressed me more than Cisse has.

Stmichael in fairness mate i saw it that way to. Drogba looked some bloody player. I wouldn't mind seeing him IF we didn't get Cisse. But i'd preffere Djibril to be honest. Drogba has more goals overall but Cisse is about three ahead in the league even after a recent goal draught.

Cisse will do the business.

If you won't take Houllier and everyone elses word for it take mine.

anyone with pace will look good against our defence because we lack it in abundance. we had 10 men for 60 minutes in one match and in the other he had one chance and scored thanks to poor defending. still looked quite decent though.

He was practically man handling Sami aswell. The only players i've seen do that over last few years are Dion Dublin and Duncan Ferguson.

i hear today that hyypia is willing to extend his contract past until 2006. he's had a bit of a different season to be honest. still a superb reader of the game and scored some vital goals aswell.

nar... Sami is still the same player. He's just playing in a different system with different players and playing with no confidence.

This system exposes his main weakness now. We have to sort an offside trap for him to play high up the pitch otherwise we have to defend deep. Its one or the other before we'll see the best of him again i think.

I take back some of the criticism I have made of Hyppia. Stu is right that he has been exposed by been played alongside Traore (last year) and Biscan (this year). Sammi needs a solid reliable guy beside him: this used to be Henchoz but Stephane obviously has problems with his fitness.

I think that says more about our defence than Drogbe.
He did however show us what Heskey could've been if he had more fire inside him.

Agree Woof, Drogba scored one penalty and a goal at Anfield due to cr@p defending. I mean ffs, would we sign Forlan on the basis of his goals against us?!?!?!?!?

Back on the topic of Cisse, he's in today's paper saying he's coming whether we make the CL or not and whether Houllier's still here or not. He's been having English lessons and househunting apparently. Must have been reading this forum and didn't like what we've all being saying about his questionable commitment.
