Gascoigne from Newcastle. At the time he went to Spurs he was potentially the best player in the World in my view. Could've been different for him away from London.
More recently Rooney. I think Manure stole him for what they paid. To think that Chelsea are going to pay more for this Essien bloke than Ferguson paid for Rooney. Incredible.

Canton was a bit of handful but I really wonder what on earth Howard Wilkinson was thinking when he let Cantona go to the mancs for only 1.2 million...

Schevchenko had a bad day in the finals, perhaps he's mentally drained because Dudek made that blinding double save, but he is pure class and I have not seen a complete striker like him since Marco van Basten in his pomp.

The point is..........which have been your favourite non liverpool players,i.e. i mentioned Tony currie,Peter Barnes  in the 70,s....over the last 30 years...you would love to have seen in our shirt.
Its called having a non offensive chat about players from a by gone era
