All has been agreed with both parties. So called 'red tape' will hold the deal up by about a week though. So he probably wont be here by the weekend like I reported earlier.

It's also looking like if Manchester United do try and hijack the deal, Liverpool will just fuck them off and offer more money to get their man, so we are willing to fight for him.

Arrigo Sacchi has also spoken personally with Owen about staying at madrid, but Owen has told him in no uncertain terms that he wants to come home.
