I don't have a good feeling about this, they beat us an Anfield 2 - 1, what do you think?

I''ll say 2 - 1 to us, Hyypia and Owen the Scorers

A massive game that we need to win. 2-1 to the Saints. Not a great time to play them as they will be trying to impress the new boss + Phillips is on good form at the moment. GH to blame it on the midweek EUFA game.

Saints are in a poor trot but we are not convincing at home, I reckon maybe a 2-1 win

I think we will win by a narrow scoreline, 1-0 or 2-1.

Its a dangerous fixture and if we lose Houllier will be absolutely slaughtered by the fans and press.

The team will dig deep and pull out a win for him, although questions will be asked why the side weren't digging as deep earlier in the season.

i'll go for a 2-1 win. i guarantee that we'll make a host of chances and hopefully mikey will stick 2 away. can't see us keeping a clean sheet though. it's a massive game when u consider the next three games are all against bottom 5 teams-wolves, leicester and blackburn.

I'll go for a 1-0 win. Baros to score. I also think that we will bounce about 4th to 6th place and play Newcastle last game of the season in a another end of season, champions league scrap.

it says something about the standard of the premiership when newcastle are 4th. they've had a worse season than us.

Unless our record against weaker Premiership sides improves then Houllier should go. We've lost away to Portsmouth and drawn against Leeds and Wolves away, gaining a narrow win at home to Leicester and a win against Leeds at Anfield is not good enough against relegation strugglers

P5 W2 D2 L1 PTS 8 out of 15 (home vs Wolves, home vs Portsmouth and away vs Leicester to come)

The premiership is turning into a joke. There are only 3 teams that can win it ( and I don't see it changing for a while ). It's not even an issue of money. We've spent millions on bad buys. GH seems to find good players on the cheap and complete donkeys for millions. I hope Cisse breaks the mold.

it's a very poor premier league. i mean as a neutral i've seen some cracking games (mainly involving spurs) but if you're a fan of one of these teams involved in 4-3 games you must be tearing your hair out. the defending is a joke. it was a three horse race by november and you have birmingham and charlton fighting for a champions league place. what is going on?

I can see before too long Celtic and maybe Rangers joining the Premier league and it being reduced to 18-20 teams.

i think from a financial point of view that will have to happen eventually. it will however spell the end for scottish football completely. i agree that the premiership should be cut anyway because there's too much dead wood in there.
