In Ireland, and I assume UK, there are loads of jobs. People with no english and no skills come here (and are welcome) and find work, support themselves and send money home. Yet, there are loads of unemployed who sit around do nothing and get by on my money. I support these fukkers. The dole was fine when jobs hard to get (like 1980s) or when in between jobs for a certain period but you shouldn't be able to choose not to work, get free housing etc, breed children (who won't work either).

Stop the dole and make them work. If they commit crime throw them in a jail like those in Brazil (shitholes), then they'll pull their weight, help the economy and taxes will be reduced.

big niall, the happy camper of lfc... but i do agree with everything u r saying. too many lazy bums. but u say u r happy for foreigners to come over if they work? would u say the same if there were not as many jobs?

its a hard thing to discuss as it sounds racist, soething which im not, sometimes patriotism and racism gets mixed up. maybe too difficult a topic to put into words on here

Loads of foreign people, mostly from Poland, now living and working in Ireland and they are fantastic workers and lovely people.

I pay a :censored:

load of tax a week and in my job, I come across loads of people who either draw the dole or worse, work, but get half their wages paid through the books and the other half paid under the counter.

No wonder there are long hospital waiting lists, :censored:

public services and what not. I work long hard hours in a stressful job and it pisses me off knowing that the income tax I pay every week equates to keeping two scruffy burberry clad 18 year olds who beat grannies and crash stolen Honda Civics into cop cars in the style they have become accustomed to.

There's loads of work in Ireland and 99% of people who are out of work for more than 2 months at a trot are out of work because they are simply too lazy to go out there and earn a crust. :angry:

I think we should adopt USA's green card policy, whereby you have to prove you are going to work, etc, before your allowed in. USA dont have the NHS either, so even more reason to get tough.

The dole doesn't bother me as such, its all the fu.cking other benefits you can claim on top of that. Its an absolute joke. Birds get themselves up the duff on purpose these days so they can live off the benefits.

And then theres that family i read about in the paper. 13 kids or something and their living in a fu.cking mansion they get so many benefits.

Gives me the rage :angry:

As for foreigners coming over, I'm not bothered really. Unless they're australian and get 60 grand a week for doing sweet fu.ck all

We have the best welfare system in the world and you can judge a country on how it teats its disadvantaged and needy........

Lets not get carried away and throw out the baby with the bathwater moaning about those that abuse the sytem

And for the record I WORK and pay taxes (as does my Wife) before you lot start "sterotyping" me as well !

Niall was making the point that foreign people were coming to Ireland as there is such a labout shortage, and his arguement was about lay about locals who could work if they wanted to but couldn't be bothered.

Christ knows how that was twisted into a "get tough on bloody foreigners" vibe!
