I would go for Brazil's Cicinho and Argentina's Juan Roman Riquelme although Robinho has been amazing.

The whole Mexican team has been impressive too.

Michael Ballack is an outstanding player. Why no one has moved for this guy I really have no idea. Hes a fantastic all round player. If we had him and Stevie G in the middle we would be unbeatable  :nod

Maybe Adriano, but I could only say after "El Clasico" this Wednesday.

This is going to be a crazy crazy match. Brazil is going to want their payback and if they can deliver, my confidence in them will be greatly increased.
Mourinho was customizing his flashy blue racing car -- applying the finishing touches of go-faster stripes, aerodynamic spoilers and a fat f@ck you exhaust -- while on his red car, Benitez was trying to glue together a broken chassis, repair bodywork and replace burst tyres.

I thought Mexico as a team played very smart and tactically sound football. They were above Agentina in the Semis and had it covered.

But im glad Argentina are through - simply love em

Outstanding players -

Riquelme,Santos and Sorin for Argentina.

Robhino hasnt been up where everyone expected him to be. He has shown good movement, some decent stepovers and through balls but i expected a lot more from him.

Best goal so far -
Adriano`s left foot wonder
That brazilian who has a cast on and plays for Mexico - scored a great goal i think against tunisia.

Arg V Bra - My vote goes to Argentina

Riqulme or Sorin for me.

Sorin looks the type of player who'd do well in England, quick, strong and doesn't shirk a challenge.  Technically good also.  Wouldn't mind signing him!!

Cicinho looks a good up and coming talent, Adriano hasn't been at his best but has still looked sharp and banged the goals in.

Tehj argies have probaly been the most impressive, either Figueroa or Riquelme.

Riquelme of argentina, marquez of mexico and adriano of brazil have all been excellent. Brazil have been so entertaining. I'd never tire of watching the likes of ronaldihno, kaka, adriano, robihno and junihno.
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,

I have also been impressed by Bastian Schweinsteiger during the Group stages. Hope that Mr Klinsmann will give him the nod against Mexico

I've missed most of the games but tuned in to watch Argentina v Mexico .I was quite impressed with the mexican team performance ,their game has certainly come on in recent years. I thought the Argentinians were distinctly average, showing little ambition and a pale shadow of the great sides we have come to expect from Argentina. They only sprang to life in the second period of extra time when it did seem that they had enough to in them to win it .
How have they been performing in the previous games and on current form who do reckon are favourite to lift the trophy ?

Argentina have probably been the form team, Brazil have looked amazing at times, but Argentina have been the most consistent.

Couldn't possibly pick a favourite in a Brazil vs Argentina match, it's like a derby where all the form books go out the window, should be a great match.
