Opinion on the mls

International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

I can't stand watching MLS matches on TV but actually being there in person isn't too bad of an experience.  The LA Galaxy and Chivas USA share a really nice stadium in my opinion even if it is on the small side.  Of course, I preferred it when LA played at the Rose Bowl because I live very close to Pasadena.

Over time I believe that the MLS will beat NHL for the 4th most popular sport in the USA.  MLS has to successfully appeal to the Latino market (especially on the West Coast) much like how the NBA appeals to the African American market.  The inclusion of Chivas USA in the league and the name change for Houston 1836 (now Houston Dynamo) were steps in the right direction.
