Nurnberg's leading goalscorer midfielder Marek Mintal looks like he might be on his way to Liverpool because Nurnberg have signed Ivan .Saenko,Jan Polak, Jawhar Mnari and Adel Chedli who are all midfielders  :buttrock

I am still not convinced Kezman is a total flop. He scored loads of goals in PSV where he got playing time and the coaching staff had confidence in him. He scored goals at will and knows how to put the lotion in the basket.
When he came to Chelski Eidjur and Drogba were Jose's 1st choice and Kezman lost confidence playing less than Biscan did for us. I still think he's got quality and for 3.5 i think he's a steal. granted Kuit might be just as good or maybe better, but Kezman has at least been in England for a year and would carry less than half the price tag Kuit does.
Just cause Chelski's philosophy is rotten, doesn't mean u shouldn't take adv of it. If they decide to sell some reserves i wouldn't decline. Kezman, Bridge, Johnson are all player I believe will come good once the confidence comes...

To late Kezmans going to Atletico Madrid, on a four year deal, I wish everyone would stop confusing Kuijt with Kezman, Dirk Kuijt is dutch, Kezman is serbian.
RVN,AR,RVP,JFH,BZ who will sign this week these dutch players have proved there worth in the prem, Kezman never got a chance really for chelsea but he is not dutch, ffs Dudek speaks dutch so do I but we are not from Holland,.

Kezman is sh1t. I remember cheering ironically when that clown came on against us in the cl. He's got no control. maybe he need in holland when he had more space but in the epl he's got the touch of a rapist.

As for Kuijt, i'd like too see him in a liverpool shirt next season based on what i've seen from him for holland. Hes strong, has good control and can finish. I think rafa is looking for a player like him whose got good physical presence up front and can hold up the ball. Holding the ball up is one thing baros and luis garcia cant do. They've given the ball away hundreds of times between them this season and many teams have capatilised on this and hit us on the break
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

We do need someone who can hold the ball up and bring others into play.  We mostly need a finisher though, but by the sounds of things Kuijt can do both.  I trust Rafa to know how to get the best of whoever we sign.  Judging by what he did with Igor he could probably even make Kezman into a good player (last time I said that was watching the Coca Cola Cup Final...)

We have got some one who can hold the ball up and bring others into play Morientes he has had time to settle after a good pre season i think he is gonna be superb for us this year with either Cisse or Baros (if he stays) plus Cisse is going to be out to prove himself after being unlucky after last year.

It is very easy for stapo1000 to say Kezman is :censored:, but I remember everyone saying the same about Forlan last season. Same goes for Jon Dahl Tommason at Newcastle but he hasn't done half as bad playing at AC Milan. Penguins is correct, he is not a flop and I want if stapo1000 is going to apologise if Kezman knocks 20 goals in Spain or manages to get a transfer to an English team and do that type of damage. Remember, Mourinho got it wrong with Crespo. If he had of know he was that good and kept him, that final might have been alot easier!!! Kezman is a form player just like Forlan. Forlan now plays all the time and scores all the time helping him to claim top scorer in Europe this year. If Kezman started every game, he would be just as prolific. My reason for not wanting him at The Reds is because he won't get to play every game due to Cisse and Morientes so what is the point. He might as go somewhere where he is first choice every time.

Got post Xavier.
I just think we should lay low on forwards right now.
We must sell a forward before we buy one.
Rafa doesn't use 2 pure strikers even each game and we got
Cisse, Nando, Baros, Pongolle, Mellor.
Where is Kuit gonna play? 1st we need to sell a few of thos we got 1st.
And I much rather wanna improve the right wing where Nunez is the only right winger we got. And NO, Garcia is not and will never be one. Or a central defender. Only got Carra and Hyppia and we use 2 every game.
Forwards are way down the list

Young Sevilla right-back Antonio Barragan is on the verge of a move to Liverpool, according to the Spanish club's director of sport Ramon Rodriguez.

Barragan, who has just turned 18, has not made an appearance for the Primera Liga club's first team, but he caught the attention of Anfield boss Rafael Benitez with a series of superb displays for the Sevilla youth side.

It seems that former Valencia coach Benitez is now poised to complete the deal, after Barragan rejected the chance to sign a professional contract in Seville.

"He has been negotiating with Liverpool for the past six months," Rodriguez told reporters on Friday.

"The FIFA rules regarding young players who do not have professional contracts have favoured us on many occasions and this time it is Liverpool who have taken advantage of them to take the player.

"We tried to keep him, but the player has freely chosen another route. We have looked after him, but he has decided to leave Sevilla."

Although Barragan lacks first-team experience, he will add competition to the right side of Liverpool's defence.

Republic of Ireland international Steve Finnan has been first choice at right-back for the past two seasons.
