thats 15 games in the space of 6 weeks!

Gotta cancel the friendlies, and probably the Japan tour. Quite possibly the 2nd round qualifier could be on the same day as Shimizu S-pulse game. Unless we send the youth side and some reserves out to Japan, but whats really the point in that?

We should field a reserve based team for the Super Cup as well.

Realistically "defending" the thing with this scenario is strictly in name only. Having said that at least we are in and so should be able to attract the players we want. If we are honest, we would hardly have been clear favourites to win it again this year anyhow so provided we can do ourselves justice, get some good players in and make a giant stride forward in the league I'd be happy.
It all seems a bit harsh but we should've finished fourth and then there'd have been no bother. It's about what I expected to be honest.

looking at that we can draw Everton in the 3rd round!

Still lot of cancelling of games is needed, and knowing our luck we will lose Carra, Stevie and Xabi in some :censored:

So, if we're not seeded, we could meet Inter Milan in the 3rd qualifying round. I'm definitely happy about the extra revenue and the players who should finally start rolling in, but can't believe we're not seeded.

Would be ironic if Liverpool draw TNS (from Wales) in qualifier round 1 after they offered to play us. At least then they would get two paydays!

I think we are, maybe mistaken though.

Still this has the potential to completley de-rail our season before it has even started. Travelling to far away palces like Azerbaijan or Kazakhstan or very hostile palces like Macedonia which are rather anti - english.

We should have been put in the 3rd qualifying round, no less.

Where does it say that we are seeded? Keep reading that we are 32nd seed, but couldn't find it on UEFA website.

Obviously makes a huge difference - especially in 3rd qual. round.

are you blind or something?

top left it says "seeded teams" and lists the coefficients. we have the highest coefficient out of any team in the qualifiers so we will definitely be seeded in the third qualifying stage.

Doubt many will cos of money sepnt on Istanpool, season ticket renewal etc.

Add to that that countries like Macedonia and Albania are extremey :censored:

dangerous, i.e. life-threatening, it's not worth it IMO.

Yep - blind as a bat!

I know what it says, but what I am wondering, does the coefficiant make any difference as far as UEFA are concerned?

Or is it in the rules that the teams with the highest coefficents will ALWAYS be seeded?

No club can be drawn against a club from their own country until the quarter finals.

Even if they could, Everton are unseeded anyway.

We dont have country protection which i thinks mean we can

Why you no listen?

We don't have country protection - true, but Everton do!! therefore they wont play another English team.
