CISSE ON TARGET FOR FRANCE
Paul Eaton 01 June 2005
Liverpoool star Djibril Cisse continued his recent rich vein of goalscoring form by netting for France in their friendly victory over Hungary last night.
It was Cisse's fourth goal in three games after grabbing a double against Aston Villa on the last day of the Premiership season and then converting from the penalty spot in the Champions League final shoot-out with AC Milan.
Cisse's goal opened the scoring for France in the tenth minute when he slotted the ball past 'keeper Gabor Kiraly after Sylvain Wiltord's pass was deflected into his path.
It was Cisse's fourth goal for his country and set France on their way to a 2-1 victory, their first home win under coach Raymond Domenech.
