Just had a thought here !! If Jose Mourinho is allegedly "The Special One" for winning the premiership with the best squad possibly in europe which, let's face it, was already closing in on the title before he joined.....

...then what does that make Rafa for winning the Champions League with a squad which is not as good as Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus etc. Not only did we win the Champions League, but Rafa tactically outfought EVERY opposing manager in europe with an allegedly inferior group of players !

I'll tell you what, if Jose is Special, then Rafa must be GOD !

Could never understand why the manager of the year ward is given out before the season ends. After last night Rafa would have gotten my vote.

I can feel the old Shankly/Paisley vibe around the place since Rafa joined us. I can spot certain resemblences in some of his desicions.
