Maybe O'neill, but certainly none of the others. O'neill will bring passion and excitement back to Anfield and then success, im sure of it. But certainly not Thommo or another foreigner!

Thommo is just as pathetic as GH nothing more than a hanger on.

why does no one ever mention david o'leary's name when discussiong potential managers. he would love to manage a big club he did a good job at leeds and seems to be turning things round at Villa even with mainly rubbish players.  This is because he gets the best out of his players eg Angel. Imagine if he did the same at Anfield- players like Kewell, Owen, Diouf, Cheyrou, Heskey, Risse, Le Tallec and Pongolle could all be twice the players they are at the moment.
He would get us playing as a team something Houllier has never done apart from when we played as a counter attacking, defensive system which we dont seem to be able to do any more (those days seem a long time ago).  Currently Liverpool look like the England team does when Errickson changes the entire team at half time and most of the players have never played together.

no ones mentioned Sam Allerdyce. I like him, hes a guy we can relate too, honest and outspoken when he needs to be. I reckon he would do a good job at Liverpool.

Judging from your picture following your posting, and from your statements you still have some years of evolution ahead of you!  :p

I don't understand why people mention Stracon when he will not be involved with football for a while?

I never even thought about David O'Leary before, now i do i reckon he would do a superb job for us like long sleeved joe has said.

Leeds downfall was nothing to do with O'Leary any manager would have done the same thing there. Ridsdale was to blame. O'Leary did a good job at leeds as he is at Villa! Add O'Leary to the list.

David O'Leary would be a decent option.

We do have a few choices. O'Leary, O'Neill, Allerdyce, Curbishley...

It's up to the board to act now or at the end of the season.

If Ranieri can't win with 100 mill in 1 season with Chelsea...WTF is he gonna do with  Liverpool FC and not even half that more than generous transfer budget. Bring O'Neil or Capello.

Ranieri and Chelski TRIED to buy the best players, but none of the clubs would sell. The best player they got was Duff and only because he was arguably bigger than the club he played for.

Yes but he blew the cash...not the best in handling the transfer market.

He did what was expected - spend the money. He didn't do that badly in buying Duff, Bridge, Makelele and Crespo, but he needed to buy the very best players who were not available. I would judge Ranieri on his pre-Abrahamovic record which is not that bad
