he hasn't impressed me much this season. The paper I read singled him and JC out as being lfc man of match. All the back four were better than SG.

I'd defo take £30m and spend elsewhere.

he runs around non stop but gives the ball away and doesn't control a game. Alonso much better.

For me, i prefer player exchange with valencia.

in - Vicente,Aimar and Mista

But nowadays we're already in Final, better we get the money and splash them while keep our recent captain.

Alonso is class an will run matches for us for years hopefully...i also hope its alongside Gerrard, his distribution playing alongside Alonso will get better. Gerrard and Carragher are players that young fans from the area look upto cos of where they are from...thats not to say they are more important than other players but we dont want to lose another scouser and replace him with another foreigner.
