it's pity...but i'd also to have a look of the duo of Alonso and Biscan...
anyway...a last 8 seat in CL is already good enough for this season: remember our injury list:(

I notice that there are I-have-a-big-mouth-behind-my-screen-but-poop-in-my-pants-when-facing-the-outiside-world guys in England too :)
Actually, Miccoli is in copropriety, like Maresca and Chiellini. That means we have the possibility to take him back before any other squad than Fiorentina.
My opinion (that the majority of fans share) is that he'll stay at Fiorentina, as will Maresca. Chiellini is a very hot prospect and Juve's General Director, Luciano Moggi, just said (yesterday) that Chiellini will be back.

regarding gerrard - it was nice to see gerrard in the echo and morning papers saying how devastated he was to miss out on this game, saying it was like missing out on the world cup in 2002 all over again.
it was also nice to see him saying that he thinks the lads can do it, and he said he`ll be shouting them on watching the telly like the rest of us.
come on liverpool

i`ve just heard gerrard isnt travelling with the squad, well if i was club captain in such a big night for many reasons i`d want to go on the trip to give the lads moral support.
maybe he stayed back for treatment but i`m sure he could get it over there.
i cant help thinking that after saturdays result something was said, because rafa was openly fuming with the performance and saying `that was a must win game`i reckon he tore into the team big time, and maybe gerrard started having a go too, maybe they all did i dont know, i havent got anything to base this on but i just sense somethings not right. maybe someone mentioned the stories in the morning papers (saturdays) or something.
maybe the press have got me paranoid whenever a situation involves gerrard, i hope i`m wrong because i`d just started to convince myself he`s staying.
to not have him playing in this game is a sickener, it really is.

Have to agree with you on this one mate. It was all a bit weird yesterday when the news Stevie couldn't make the game came out. All the press ran the story but when i looked on the official website - not a word. In fact they didn't have ANY new news stories/interviews or feeds untill the afternoon. This is pretty much unheard. first thing i do when i get into work each day is log on to LFC.TV. There is ALWAYS something new on there untill yesterday. I expected to see some reaction from Rafa on the site shortly after but this did not happen either (untill today).

Like you i think i'm probably just paranoid but have to admit it all smelt a bit fishy or like something had happened.
