Looks like the deal is done, on LFC.tv entrance page there was a LG logo with  the following

"A new striking partnership has begun....

Liverpool FC know that their fans expect and deserve the very best which is why they have teamed up with LG Mobile, the industry leaders in 3G technology, as their official mobile handset partner. "

LG is a big a#sed company. I would be proud to wear their logo. And trying to get with Liverpool, they definitely know what they are doing. Awesome.
Mourinho was customizing his flashy blue racing car -- applying the finishing touches of go-faster stripes, aerodynamic spoilers and a fat f@ck you exhaust -- while on his red car, Benitez was trying to glue together a broken chassis, repair bodywork and replace burst tyres.

the bottom line is LG are a huge multinational company who can afford to pay us decent wonga. They don't have a particularly strong brand name in the UK but that's their problem, not ours. If they come up with the right money then they are good sponsors, couldn't really give a monkeys about a trendy brand logo or not

LG are a ****** mobile phone company that is a fact. I have had one of these phones for 3 years and have had nothing but trouble ,no signal and the help lines have people that you cant understand .

They were even on watchdog the other night with many people saying the same

I dont want them as our sponsors I will have nightmares !

look as i have said before , right now redbull are going to be our next sponsors, there are a few things that can change this , one of them being a take over of the club, and the other is if the club get a better offer.
nike are going to be making the kit unless the same as above happens

Candy were (still are?) a Japanese firm making fridges, washing machines etc

Does anyone remember a few years ago LG sponsored Leicester City? That never made much of an impact but I'd hope they'll put a bit more money on the table for us than they did for Gary Lineker's crisp-munchers
