Ah yes, however a win against Blackburn would have greatly increased our chances of making up the ground on Everton and securing that 4th place.
You are joking me right?
Steven Gerrard, the best midfielder of his generation and our talisman last season, and a great help this is in for a bleak future?
Milan Baros, our leading goalscorer this term, and the golden boot winner at Euro 2004 just a short while ago has a bleak future?
Get Real.
Greatest sentence I have ever read. NOT
Of course we need to do as well as we can, but not just because of the money which may allow us to buy new players. No. We must do as much as possible to win as we are Liverpool Football club, the greatest team England has ever produced, proud of our history, and nothing else will ever bee good enough for the club, the players, the team and the fans.
The possible sale of Baros and Gerrard? Jesus H Christ, why would we want to encourage the sale of our best players? We are not intrested in balancing the books, we want to produce great teams who play football the Liverpool Way. Nothing else comes close.

Well if you where going thru a rocky patch wit hyour missus and she was considering leaving you, would you slag her off and berate her or tell her you love her ?
Is it not the same thing here?
We should be telling Stevie how much we love him, and then if he still decides the grass is greener, at least we tried, at least we gave it OUR best shot.
