Michael Owen - how many has he scored ? He `s almost as bad as Steffen is at Wolves ! And Wolves are second bottom ! I mean,7 matches and no goals, and the misses he`s been doing !?  LOL !

every time he stops scoring the critics come out their shell and criticise, id of thought by now you'd have realised sooner or later he will start scoring and when he does we will be in buisness because with the amount of chances were creating at the minuite owen be hitting them in from all angles. When he's on form hes as good as anyone, and whenever he goes off form people criticise him and time and time again he proves them wrong.

Ive never criticised owen, as i no he will start scoring again sooner rather than later. All he needs is a goal.

Heres to hoping it isnt some off field turmoil about him wanting to leave LFC for Real Madrid puting him in the wrong frame of mind to score goals.
Football is a simple game, all you have to do is pass the ball to a player in a red shirt.

Michael Owen is a World Class striker, end of the story!

He just got back from long term injuries with hamstring problem which is quiet serious.
I am quietly confident that he will fire up and will scoring again this season.

He'll be back, remember last season when everybody was saying he was finished?  He went and knocked in a hat-trick against Man City.

I've watched many of the games MO been involved in since his return and let me assure you he is as sharp as ever. A lot of opportunities have realy not come his way but his pace and speed of thought is frightening. You can almost sense the fear of defenders as he runs at and around them. :p

Owen is a great player but it always takes him a few games to get over his injuries. He could do with an easy goal to get going again.

Owen was in terrific form before his injury - 8 goals in 12 Premiership games I believe. His record isn't that bad even now, still 8 goals in 16 Premiership games

Iversen is cr@p and you insult Owen by comparing the two

Owen (quality) - 8 goals in 16 Premiership games (0.50 goals/game)
Iversen (*****) - 4 goals in 14 Premiership games (0.29 goals/game)

I can assure you - if Steffen has played for a team creating so many chances he`d scored 12 - 15 by now ! But he`s also been injured, and as you all say it takes time to come back into shape!     :D

I'm shocked anyone touched Iversen, he has been ***** injured or otherwise. It was inevitable a bottom three side would get him, he would have struggled to find a decent Premiership club.

Every true Liverpool fan knows that Michael is a class above the rest and it is only a matter of time before he starts banging the goals in again. I agree with Dalglish, I have watched the opposing defences and they are terrified when the lad goes on a run. And don't forget, Michaels partner had a near fatal accident recently which left her in hospital seriously injured. Owen stayed at the hospital night after night because her condition was so serious - and she is still a long way from recovering fully again.
But give him credit, he never asked to be left out of the team even though he must have been worried sick at times.
Keep going Michael lad and show those who knock you just how important you are to Liverpool and England. We treasure class at Liverpool!

lads give owen a chance cos if u had a girlfriend in hospital like he did and he was injured it would take u a few games to get it back the rest of the team need to help to score the goals:D

There`s always perfectly good explanation why things are as they are ! Nevertheless - fact is he hasn`t scored for several matches ! But I`m sure he will score again soon ! Hopefully he will contribute to a place in the FA - cup final ( the match vs Pompey is shown on Norwegian tele sunday!) and a place i CL nest season !?
