personally i dont see anything wrong with the article, and i think it was fairly optimistic, just because mark lawrenson wrote people automatically say it's ****** and that he hates liverpool, which i dont understand becaue as a player his best days were in a liverpool shirt.

I don't understand Lawrensen either cos as you said he's an ex-red but he just never has anything good to say about us

Lawrenson was on the TV3 panel last night ( Along with Toshak) He had nothing good to say about us, especially Garcia and Kewell, before the match.

Unfortunately I couldnt wait for his aftermach comments. Anyone from Ireland watching TV3 last night?

A pity that I will be in Osaka, Japan this Sunday and will not be able to catch the league Cup final match. :angry:

I hope the lads are worked up to play consistently throughout the match, especially Dudek. If this is the case, we have a good chance of coming out ad the victorious team.

Forget what Lawro says, he was a great player but a very lousy manager, he needs to say things to get positive or negative reactions so that people won't forget him...

Lawrenson hasn't got a clue.

Wasn't he the newcastle defensive coach under keegan during the days they either won or lost 4-3 every week!!!

I watched the game on TV3 and thought Lawro said that we played OK and that the germans deserved a goal (they did - remember an analyser is not supposed to be a cheerleader).

Toshack was a miserable ******, complaining that Manu or Milan will be knocked out and LFC might get further.

What a plonker.
