I think you were the one who predicted us to draw with Arsenal or lose to them as you just couldn't see us beating them after losing to Boro 2-0.  :D

I may start a thread asking for the most gut wrenching games you have seen  :glare:

1999 FA Cup against the Mancs would be my choice , cried like a baby when I got home

But the Bayer game in 2002 is up there, i was in the pub with an assortnment of LFC and Everton fans..... it was all I could do to prevent myself nutting some of the Blueshite who were cheering when Bayer scored the 4th goal !!! ???

All games we've lost this season have been hard to stomach. Especially the one against Chelsea as we didn't deserve to lose. I turned away from the telly for a second or too and as soon as I got back on the couch we were down 1-0 and I was about to jump through the tv.

i'll go for a 1-0 win. we MUST keep a clean sheet. i can see it being a relatively ugly game which will be decided from a set piece.

3 things going for us... at least :)

At Anfield, Liverpool have not lost a single match against German clubs (11 wins, three draws).
Bayer Leverkusen have played English opponents on 10 previous occasions winning only one (one win, three draws, six losses).
On English soil, Leverkusen have recorded one draw and four defeats against English clubs.

good omens i agree. leverkeusen have always been notoriously bad travellers but very strong at home. earlier in the competition that thumped real madrid 3-0 at the bay arena.

they'll most likely play one upfront in berbatov and try and nick something on the break. it's all about us. when we're hot i'd fancy us to beat anyone but when we're not, southampton and birmingham make us look poor.
