Official, Madrid are knocked out, no spanish sides in the comp anymore, means Italy will be hard to beat.

Proud of the lads tonight, did fantastic, knew Garcia needed time while most of you were slaggin him off, has been showing some great promise of late.

Congratulations to the boys! Magnificent performance. Who could predict football? Where did this display come from? 3-1 away from home. Brilliant.

I thought Stevie was superb tonight. He ran the midfield the way he was doing last year. Psychology - who knows?

Cant wait for the draw now.

btw, didn't see their goal, how it happened?

decent goal actually Annie, a bit of Leverkusen pressure and we couldn't clear the ball properly, fell to the german lad with a name I can't spell and he struck it very sweetly past dudek

not that it matters, we demolished them in both legs

Polish lad Wolly, he was Polish, he was soo desperate to get it passed him international teammate.

I've seen that guy play before, fantastic player.

Think you will all find that i am nearest in the "predictions" thread!

i predicted 0-5 ! could have been, had baros looked up and squared that one to Riise. And that pen, 1st half.
plus half a dosen other chances.

totally bossed it.

I said...we've beat them once ,we'll beat the again!

Those who said, we'll get beat 2-1, 2-3...shame on you!

Michael Owen, crying his eyes out and wishes he had signed for LFc to play champions league footy and glory, as Real got KNOCKED OUT by Juve.

Hats off to you if you did. I thought we were going to loose narrowly tonight and envisaged a lot of nail-biting and desperate defending ala the Carling Cup final. How wrong I was. Makes you wonder what we could do with a bit of consistency, belief and a lack of injuries .

Draw is on 18th March apparently. If we draw Chelsea we could beat them. We've come close twice already this season. If we play like tonight we could beat anyone.

now lets look forward to the blackburn game! well its a pity that we couldnt keep a clean sheet.... could have been a bigger confidence booster for dudek and the defense, especially for dudek as he certainly did not want his intenrational teammate scoring against him.
