Benitez is IMO doing a fine job so far. I'm ignoring the league position and I'm not expecting to even make 4th this season. We have become a club obsessed with the CL and that 4th spot. Why ? Some claim that it meant the difference last season on the saga of Stevie G staying . Well it didn't stop michael Owen leaving did it ? And truth be told it won't stop Stevie leaving either I'm afriad to say![]()
You simply can't mention Liverpool's recent run without making reference to the injury list. Although it's to benitez's credit that he doesn't use it as an excuse it's quite obvious that the injuries we have suffered this season have had a major effect on the teams performances.
I understand peoples frustrations and I share many of them but Benitez isn't one of them.
Walk on .....
Dalglish wrote:Hi Roberts, I understand your frustration mate but venting your spleen on here doesn't benefit yourself or anyone.
You seem to have gone off on one and i have on e question for you ? If not Benitez then who ? And WHOEVER we get do you seriously believe Stevie g is going to stay ?
Dalglish wrote:The forum is full of opinions and your entitled to yours, however i believe you wil be proved wrong on benitez and right on Gerrard.......

FFS, theres two teams in Scotland, and you wouldnt put your mortgage on either finishin above the other, jus depends which way the wind blows half the time. What the hell makes you think O'neills so qualified? Cuz he took Celtic to the EUFA cup final? Houllier won it, and I guess you cheered the day he left?
Why not give it a rest, let others make some positive comments, some encouragin stuff instead of jus slaggin the guys cuz we didn play so well. It ain the end of the world, its his first season, he's got several players that aint been here 5 minutes and twice as many doin the supportin cast for Casualty. Judgin by the miracles youre after, you best pop out around easter and see if Christ's gonna rise again
