cant say that i agree with all the criticism leveled at benitez.

the young players need games becuase many are gonna be the future of lfc, and were else are they gonna play if they cant play against a championship side in the 3rd round of the fa cup, then were are they gonna get their experience

the players didnt play well enough and our midfield wasnt good enough, infact it was non exsistent, so dont jump on the back of rafa, just let it go, im angry but like the manchester united game we need to sit down and be realistic about it, no point in venting our anger.

whats done is done, now lets concentrate on what we have left

semi's in the league cup
4th to aim for in the league
we have already makes progress under benitez
and we are guaranteed a payout for reaching the knockouts in the champions league

that pitch was a disgrace, no player could get hold of the ball properly and nunez is a disgrace to the club with that kind of behavior, we expect that of rooney and duncan ferguson

well in lad

he threw a bunch of kids out there to try and win the game for us, cos he is trying to protect the first team players because the squad is already looking a bit thin

the kids werent good enough and we lost, just get over it, we only would of got knocked out later by a decent team anyway

The Spanish coach insists that he made the right decision in making so many changes, and believed they were unlucky to lose at Turf Moor.

"I think we played a good second half," said Benitez. "They started with a high tempo and they played well, but after that we played well and controlled the game.

was he at the same gamme that was on tv?

How about you go on LFC.tv and read the complete interview.  Sky Sports has a tendency to take words out of context.

We luv him here in Liverpool ok hes made mistakes but he wont make them the second time round, all this is new for him you know ??? .
I am 100% behind him like many other LFC supporters,  but you live in polland so dont try and take this away from true red fans.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Just got back from the game and if someone comes on here and says it might be a "blessing in Disguise" or "our priority is the CL" then your misguided ???

NO Passion ,NO pride,  NO Playmakers, NO Ideas, NO Invention and ffs please NO BISCAN !!!!!!

Benitez picks the team so has to take some responsibility and if as has been suggested he isn't interested in the World's Greatest Cup competition then perhaps next time he could forewarn the fans and we wil stay away from this reserve team fixture !

I'm too angry for words at the moment after an abject performance that i witnessed tonight !!!!!!!!!!! :(
