Igor to stay! - Yesssssss.....get in!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Igor Biscan has to be one of the worst players I have ever seen. He's not even a ONE trick pony. I still don't even understand what position he actually plays in and as far as I'm concerned he resembles a mad scientists limping assisstant much more than a premiership footballer. He's just another one of Mad doctor Houllier-stein's failed experiments. Allright, it is good that he wants to stay and help out (which I pressume means cleaning boots and brewing up) but I can't wait until Aloso's back and we bring in someone better. Maybe Aliou Diarra is better but who knows? ...seriously, who knows?

Come on he isnt that bad, he would be able to play at most mid-table premiership sides n thats good enough for a 4th or 5th choice player! (when all players fit)
I think the people who say they cant believe ppl like him r assuming that those ppl want him to play regular first team football.  I like Biscan, i think he is proably one of the best  proffesionals (off the pitch) in football today!  I think he's good enough to be 5th choice even at Liverpool.  People say 'would he get into the first team at arsenal, man u, chelsea etc.' and the answer is no, but he doesnt get in the first team here either.  He's just as good as man u, arsenal, chelsea etc. players of similiar squad standing.  Give him a break he was played out of position for just about his entire liverpool career (what puzzles me is why Houllier called him 'the croatian Zidane' and then played him at centre back, would he have played Zidane at centre back? ??? ).  And for those of you who say that 'being played out of position has nothing to do with it' your just ferking  stupid.  I have a professional contract now here in australia with the Qld Lions (for those of you who may remember my topic in the general discussion section some montsh ago), I play as a winger n i was good enough to get picked up, if I was now played as a centre back i would be much, much, much worse.  The same thing applies, he's not a centre back so dont judge his abilities based on being played there.

I never get along with the all the hypes around Igor. I'm not as happy as you are for his staying. There's not much space remaining to dig out of him. Don't get me wrong, he's not bad, but to me, he's not the one who has the desired capability to be one fitting in the rafalution troops. His presence, however, causes no harm to the team, since he's been a nice lad, not demanding too much, and relatively cheap. :)
