Grobbelaar Article

When I was a kid collecting stickers, I used to think that Grobbelaar was the ringer for Leicester City's Steve Lynex.

Anyone else?

I also read that article in a newspaper yesterday.

Brucie was a legend, but he blotted his copybook big time towards the end. I don't for a minute buy his explanation of what happened.

He really likes the Sun newspaper, doesn't he?

Grobbelaar was the original clown goalkeeper but he is nowhere near as critical clanger-prone as Lehmann or Howard. While he is not as reliable as Ray Clemence, he has an abundance of agility and was luckier than our recent 'keepers to have a very solid defence and excellent covering midfielders in front of him that his sometimes extravagant blunders are not always costly.

A legend in my book, nevertheless.
