Cogratulations Peewee..  :)

I thinks the aura of  being a "Liverpool Great" left the guy when all these revaltions came out. He's a bit tainted.. I for one don't think of him in the same way..even though he kept goal for us during the clubs goldenist of era's  ???

i agree zarababe, i have mixed feelings although he made some outstanding saves and we won a lot of trophies with him in goal. one of the saves against man ure was brilliant. i think bob wilson backed bruce up in court with video evidence

Yes.. but it's his own performance on the secret videos that was quite damning ???

He was my all time favourite keeper, but when the "secret" video came out I remembered the game at Newcastle where he missed two identical simple crosses allowing them to score. This game was mentioned as one he was bribed to throw (allegedly).
I never felt as good about him after that.

I have mixed feelings, it was all so dodgy and some of the 'mistakes' he made do look obvious now when see the footage ???

Oh well he was still a liverpool great.

Yeah , at the time we put those mistakes down to his "eccentricity" .Can't count how many times he went walk about and we'd all end up laughing with relief when the ball was finally cleared.
At the top of his game a great keeper and entertainer.  :)

ps anyone remember that barney he had with Macca ? .

You're right :D
I also remember a real sinking feeling in my stomach watching that incident, to me it was another sign that all was not well with the mighty red machine. :(

I think the mans a w@nker. He wasn't really that good anyway. I think he was average but made to look good by the fact we had a great front line & midfield so by the time the opposition scored one, we'd already got three.

He's a baffoon & after the secret video incident I erased him from my LFC history. He's a nobody.

His name is not even allowed to be spoken in my house.
