i'm applying a little maths to the problem. based on current number of posts and current daily post rate, the artist formerly known as AB will reach 2000 posts in 40.44531 days.

Chelsea left-back Celestine Babayaro will sign for Newcastle United in the next 48 hours, as Graeme Souness beats Middlesbrough and Liverpool to the 26-year-old.

Newcastle United take on Arsenal at St James Park tonight, therefore there was no official comment from the club.

Babayaro and his agent were seen getting out of Freddy Shepherd's car at St James' Park yesterday and was later seen with the club doctor in the ground.

Meanwhile, Spanish media are reporting that Newcastle United have made a €5m bid for Deportivo La Corunna’s striker Walter Pandiani. The 28-year-old Uruguayan forward, who has played for Deportivo since moving from Penarol in 2000, would allegedly be allowed to go, after the Spanish outfit admitted being in favour of a €8m sale.
