Yes !! I hate the patriots, but they are amazingly successful so even if Liverpool  hits the slump Mr Kraft will still have money to inject in the club.  He also already owns a MLS team who is coached by a former Red, come on Kraft !!  :grinning:

I would rather not sell out to some corporation who will turn Liverpool into a kraft fest, we will basically be the Kraft football team with their sponsorship ****** everywhere.

Igor, It's a ploy to pull in money up front, for a right to sit in a seat. Arsenal are using it in their new ground and it is used by the Newcastle and the Rugby Unions for Twickenham and Millenium Stadium.
Basically you pay say £500-£1000 just for the right to sit in a seat for the next 50/100yrs, you pay on the drip over 2 to 5 seasons and you also have to pay your normal Season Ticket Cost each year. But the club pulls a load of money in advance which they use to improve their cash flow, buy players or indeed build a new stadium.

Ok . GH blew a fair bit of that in 2002 on 3 players (Diouf, Daio and Cheyrou) which was the beginning of the end for GH but we have generated far greater amounts than that in the last 10 years.

For the record I have to say I trust Moores, call it blind loyalty if you will but can't honestly believe they would decline a takeover bid of £70 Million out of petty jealousy or the desire to cling onto power .......

Dalglish, there lies the problem. The current management team have squandered all the wealth derived from massive gate receipts and sponsorship etc. That's why we need a change.

John Bull, I do not believe that Moores and Parry are in anyway dishonest or disreputable, my fear is that they are just not sharp enough as business men. You only have to read Moores annual Report to see that he wears his heart on his sleeve and is as open as a huge barn door, he is also very honourable, you can not dislike the bloke, even if he makes money from the sale of his share. Parry has a big reputation in the game for straight dealing, he just ain't sharp enough, as he admit's with the Owen sale.

Akin to Carragher, a truly unsung hero of some great Liverpool sides, although he did score quite a few also.
