We should work on keeping both.

What the feck is this absolute utter nonsense about selling Ali ?? Reg have you been on the falling down water ??   Kelleher has done a brilliant job in the same way as Bradley but to suggest that either of them could be permanent replacements for Ali or Trent at this stage is somewhat ludicrous !!

"Falling down water"

Never heard that phrase before.   :D

Dev, you're being nostalgic however if you recall both Shanks and Paisley sold players when the opportunity presented itself. I'd consider selling Ali, but keep TAA. If Liverpool do plan on keeping him for another 7 years then we should sell Kelleher and max his return. It just seems a waste to throw away a 6 year age advantage.

I hadn't been on the falling down water but I had been on the happy juice, that's for sure.

I get what you're saying Reg. And one of Klopp's (very few) faults is holding onto players after they've passed their prime.

But I'd keep Ali. I honestly think he's the best keeper we've had in 30 years.

I’d want a much bigger sample size before I’d consider selling Ally. Kellleher has done great but Adrian played really well for an extended spell that year we won the title. Ally hasn’t just done good for a couple of months he’s been outstanding for 6 years

Adrian is a complete liability, if he was deputizing for Allison  we would have dropped a lot more points. Having two strong goalies is vital if you want to challenge for trophies. Allison and Kelleher are far superior a combination than Kelleher and Adrian.

No Reg definitely not being nostalgic. I could just about subscribe to your logic if Adrian who is in the Karius camp wasn’t the number 2 to Kelleher.

Logically you'd bring the next lad in from the academy. Apparently we have another solid prospect there at the moment.

I think Allison is emotional/spiritual and losing his mentor who probably replaced his father after he died is probably going to have an effect.

Will be out for six weeks. Nothing unusual about this with Ali tbh, it happens almost every season, but we had a superb back-up in Kelleher before, hopefully Marmadashvili will be able to do the same.

Ali's timing for this injury sucks though, we're about to probably have the most difficult run of games in this first half of the season. He might miss the following games:

(A) Chelsea
(H) Man United
(A) Eintracht Frankfurt
(A) Brentford
(H) Crystal Palace
(H) Aston Villa
(H) Real Madrid
(A) Man City

I’m not sure it’s that bad of an injury.

Slot said he might be back after the international break for the Man Utd game.

Hope so mate. He also said that both Chiesa and Ekitike trained with the team so hopefully they'll both be available for the Chelsea game.

That's awesome, so Ekitike is just a minor one? Fab news that, his the only one so far from the new boys that has looked good.
