Team news
Brighton captain Lewis Dunk has overcome the minor hamstring problem that caused him to miss last week's win over Wolves.

Forward Joao Pedro is available again following his three-match ban while winger Kaoru Mitoma could return after missing four games with heel and back issues.

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot did not report any new injury problems in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

When asked if the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold would feature, Slot said it was too early to say what the team would be

----------------------------------

I know we're at the beach now but I'd like us to finish the season in style win last 2 games and get to 89 points. Hopefully Salah can gey goal/assist, I think his 2 away from Henry assist record or something.

I'd be suprised if we win any of our remaining games tbh, the boys are literally already on vacation. Fitness levels will no doubt drop so I wouldn't play most of our main players so we don't risk any unnecessary injuries.

Liverpool team news

Team to play Brighton: Alisson, Konate, Quansah, Bradley, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Chiesa, Elliot, Salah, Gakpo.

Subs: Kelleher, Robertson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold, Endo, Jones, Nunez, Diaz.

Trent on the bench- which is the right move- just don't bring him on..any boos will just put a dampener on the whole title win again.

2-1 to the Reds

Brighton's not the easiest place to go at the best of times so we are doing alright all things considered, given they are the one's who really need the points we are doing okay.

Konate has been dreadful

If Mo scores that chance to make it 3-1 it probably would have been game over, not that it matters that much. We have a lot of fringe players who are good but not quite good enough to start every week in a title winning team, it will be interesting to see what happens with them over the summer.

Well well well ,  :lookaround

Hard to criticise a manager who has led us to be champions BUT ! with the trophy safely in the cupboard I still expect a performance from manager and team  :kungfu:
Slott's selection/tactics somehow managed to make Brighton look like a vintage Liverpool under Jurgen  .

p.s  RE Chiesa , understand now why he's made fk all impact at the club, contributed nothing apart from continually standing still and throwing his arms up in exasperation .

The lads going to Dubai for a week's holiday totally sent the wrong message that the season's over. Very disappointing for the fans.
