Neymar anyone

Actually I’m hoping he goes to ManUre, he is the typical toxic type they seem to choose that has been keeping them from success.

I think Mount was always going to follow the money so we never stood a chance if others became interested. I doubt we even enquired about him tbh.

Mc Alister would be our marquee signing but imo not a marquee player. I'd be afraid he would just blend into what we have without making a massive difference. We are linked with a few others but think Alexis in our view is the big business and whatever else we bring in will be from lower leagues and not likely to push anyone for a start.
Mc Alister is a good player but not going to take us from 5th to 1st. Going from Klopps recent comments about anyone who wants to go can, leads me to believe that the club is not intending on letting anyone go other than what's out of contract.

If we are dealing with Brighton for a player I'd personally think Caicedo would be the better fit for us. He's more mobile and covers a lot of ground quickly.

Would want him anywhere near us tbh. Couldn't bear looking at him throwing himself all over the place every week and whinging because he didn't get the foul.

He's tailor made for Manure and you said it right "Toxic".

Mount would have been a big upgrade on Henderson on the right hand side of midfield. But in all honesty considering Henderson's decline and how little he contributes on the pitch nowadays beyond shouting at his teammates, it isn't going to be that hard to find an upgrade on him. If Mount is being offered a bigger wage alongside CL football then fair enough. Personally I don't think he's worth a transfer fee upwards of £50mil with 12 months left on his contract, alongside a weekly wage upwards of 200k. If we can't find better value aboard then everyone involved with recruitment needs questioning.

Sounds like Mac Allister is all sorted and he'll sign contracts when he is back from holiday and before he links up with Argentina on 10th June. Beyond that the most solid links to other midfielders seem to be Ryan Gravenberch, Khephren Thuram, and Manu Kone. Defender wise it's Jurrien Timber and Micky van de Ven.

Saw this on the Anfield Wrap and tend to agree: https://twitter.com/TheAnfieldWrap/stat ... 2864824320. We've had our fingers burnt in the last couple of windows hanging around waiting for players/selling clubs to make up their mind and losing out on other targets in the meantime. Sounds like we're talking to more players this time round and will move quickly through our list if things are dragging out. Expect most our business to be done before pre-season starts on 8th July.

Not fussed about not getting Mount, but also not too excited with Mac Allister as well. Not a bad player but not great either. Caicedo would have definitely been much better as you said.

Can't be signing Mount with a hooter that sized
I personally don't think Mac Allister will happen and I am not sure he's the one to transform the midfield either

He's saying that if a good offer arrives for the club and him he will evaluate it.

Sounds to me like we havent been in touch with either Brighton or him. Also sounds like he will go where he gets the best offer as well.

City win the FA Cup, now just Inter stand between them and the treble.
What an awful season this has been.

I would love to see Inter somehow manage to pull off a miracle and stop that doped team from winning the only thing they have ever cared about. That would give the season a silver lining. That team is so smug.

I suppose there is the faint possibility that they could choke on the night but I just don’t see it, they are too good, I think they’ll wipe the floor with Inter

I think they will myself but you never know. Inter go ahead and they will park up and defend for their lives.

Doesn't bother me if they win it either and do the treble. They have been good enough this year to go all the way.

Yup Same here hoping Inter somehow do it but highly doubt it. Would love to see Pep getting another runners up medal.
