Even though they initially denied it and this being the second time they get punished for breaking the rules. Somebody in FIFA got themselves a sweet bribe, proof that FIFA are still corrupt. The fine is like one of their star player’s salary for a week, they’ll be laughing.

Fifa are scared of city, if they get any sort of ban they threatened they will tie fifa up in court and they have the money to do it

Strip them of everything they have won since the involvement of Arab oil money. NOBODY WILL EVER CONVINCE ME THAT THEY HAVE ACHIEVED THEIR SCCESS GENUINELY !! Their success has been bought. You don't have to go too much further than their history in the transfer market and what they have spent to appreciate how they have gained their success. From memory the highest paid manager in the Premier League was circa £8m when Guardiola accepted the City job for £15m a year. Time and time again they have demonstrated a financial ruthlessness to get what they want. They have been fined £50m back in 2014 and if anything their behaviour has got worse !!  https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footb ... rules.html

They are very largely responsible for the ridiculous wages that are currently being paid and the absurd cost of players which is making it impossible for the vast majority of teams to compete. Hopefully serious action will be taken in December.
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years (10 years

LFC £255m (£467m)
Everton £38m (£287m)
Arsenal £645m6 (£925m)
Spurs £510m (£541m)
Chelsea £788m (£1007m)
Man City £307m (£1012m)
Man United £702m (£1249m)

I heard somewhere today that they just topped the salary list beating Real Madrid. How the hell can they afford to beat Real Madrid in salaries paid when they have a fraction of their fan base, shirts sold, stadium filled if there was no funny business? It is financially impossible for them pay such high salaries with their legitimate revenue as they are not that big of a club. It is this that will ruin the game!

35 point deduction for next season and no champ.league footie.
Watch their players (the ones that kiss the badge because it's their dream to play for Man City when really Man city were probably mid to low table when these mercenaries where growing up) all up sticks and leave for pastures new, Man city then spend 2 years struggling at the bottom eventually getting regulated, the Arabs sell up and Man City's record attendance is a rainy night vs Exetor City with a crowd of 8k watching. Then, just to top it right off... they go into liquidation and get wrapped up.

you read it here first

Worst case scenario for them from this, they'll get one year without CL footy, maybe a transfer ban for one window as well.

But most likely they'll just end up paying another fine and then continue business as usual.

If the case is eventually proved against city will the FA also take action. It seems totally unreasonable to me that they should only be penalised in the CL. A competition that they have never won  or even looked like winning !! Not playing in the CL would actually benefit the performance in the Premier League.

1. In 2022, Everton got a PGMOL apology after Rodri handball was not given as penalty. Everton lost 1-0, and Liverpool lost the title by 1 point because this handball decision was not given.
2. Last season, Arsenal got 2 PGMOL apologies which cost them 5 points. City won the League by 5 points
3. Man City have never received a PGMOL apology. Somehow the horrible quality of refereeing in this league never affects them, but affects their direct title rivals a lot.
So in last 2 years, 3 apology worthy mistakes have given 2 titles to Man City, the same team that has not been punished for FFP in 15 longgg years. You hear a lot of praise for City and Guardiola from pundits and ex-players. But if Klopp points out issues about FFP and VAR, he is said to be moaning/crying/whinging and should move on. Quite an absurd logic...I think Klopp has been absolutely bang on, all along
