Brighton Vs Liverpool 12/01 15:00 ko

Liverpool Football Club - Games

A minor recent bump should not come in the way of our objective.

So our opponents Brighton currently 13th in the league. We just about beat them earlier in the season. They are not a bad outfit with some decent results against the top sides, even though they narrowly lost. They haven't been tonked by anyone atm biggest loss against everton 3-1. Currently they have been kind of off form with 1 win 2 draws and 2 losses in their last 5 games. Top scorer Glenn Murray could pose a threat so we must keep an eye on him.
They have got a decent home record with some good results.

3-2 mannure
1-0 wolves
1-1 Arsenal
1-0 Everton

Narrow 2-1 losses vs Spurs and Chelsea.

Won't be a walk in the park so we will have to be on form for this one.

As for us with our defensive worries most likely Fab will be paired with VVD.

I'm unsure if we should start Keita for this one or not.

Most likely side Klopp will play

Allison,TAA,VVD,FAB,Robertson,Wij    ,Hendo,Shaq,Mane,Firmino,Salah.

We'll probably line up like this. And the same for Palace next week.

                             Alisson

Trent          Fabinho          van Dijk          Robertson

               Henderson          Wijnaldum

         Shaqiri          Firmino          Mane

                               Salah

Subs: Sturridge, Origi, Keita, Lallana, Milner, Moreno, Mignolet

Think we'll get back to winning ways tomorrow, but will have a nervy 20 mins in the opening half as Brighton come at us.

I'm going for 1-4 to us, with Brighton scoring first

Matip was back in training yesterday, so he will be fit for the Palace game. Fabinho at CB for tomorrow though. Pig Catcher's line-up is what we'll see for sure. Except maybe Keita for Shaqiri but I doubt it.

Anyway, this game has a potential banana skin written all over it. I thought we'd draw with City but also draw with Brighton right after, but now we can't really afford a draw. In fact, we can't really afford to lose any points until the scum match, so pressure on.

This game is massive, the footballing world will be looking at this to see if the City/Wolves games were anomalies or to see if we really are starting to unravel.
Not just this match the next 3 or 4 games are massive tbh, we need to get the show back on the road and let everyone know that we are the real deal this year.

Someone posted here they are shyte. I disagree. Brighton have caused a few teams a bit of difficulty this year. And the coach is a top class one too. We should win but I don't think it will be a walkover

This is a game we would have bottled in seasons past...different mentality this time round, I think we’ll bounce back with a 3-1 win. Have a sneaky feeling the City game won’t go according to plan also....

If Wolves manage to get something out of the City match that would be awesome.

We must however get 3 points ourselves first. Common redmen
