Shame we didn’t get 3rd but hey ho I know we are a better side than Spurs or Utd, injuries not kind and the CL a distraction to league business.

Comfortable win today some great football and goals, pleased for Solanke and Robertson. No injuries and a 2 week rest ahead of the final in Kiev.

Just as I predicted  :buttrock

I'm vary of saying we are better than utd and spurs just yet as personally don't think there is that much in it as things stand. In spurs, they've essentially played all their games away this season what with being at wembley. I actually had them down as being comfortably adrift of top 4 this year so for them to come 3rd is quite a surprise to be honest.

Found our scoring boots and we didn't look insanely lethargic in the last 20 minutes. Bodes well for 2 weeks time. Bring it on.

Comfortable win for the boys, as expected. Rafa doing us a solid just in case :D

Too bad we didn't get third, but we'll compensate for it by winning the CL :buttrock

4th place secured. Well done. As it turns out we did not need to win today, 4th or 3rd place, doesn't really matter.

Overall it would have been great to get second, or finish above the scum,  but our squad is not deep enough with quality at the moment. Next season we should be better.

Let's go on now and win the European Cup. :buttrock

That was much, much better. For the first time in weeks we looked full of running.
Qualifying for next year's CL is tremendous achievement, in this country there are 6 big wealthy clubs going for just 4 places and we had to finish above last year's champions over 38 games to do it. What finishing in the top 4 guarantees is that whatever happens in a fortnight we can look to some quality players arriving in the summer.
I feel much more confident about facing Madrid than I did before this game, i thought our lads were out on their feet but that was much more like it, I can't wait now to see them walking into that stadium in Kiev with 2 weeks rest in their legs and a liverbird on their chests.

Job done. Another top 4, which is progress  :buttrock

Personally, I think we'd have 3rd wrapped up if it wasn't for the CL games and injures to the squad. We're clearly stretched thin and - dare I say it - have overachieved reaching the CL final. However, I'm happy and I think we're ready to go on to the next level with new signings to add the squad depth we desperately need.
