Everyone says its just a matter of time but i dont see the allure of Real Madrid !
To me they are like a travelling circus not a Football club! Yes they have a great history but that is history and over the last few years i find them more and more a joke!
I know they have some fantastic players but they are ageing too!
Beckham was bought because he advertises the club and sells shirts in big markets!
Football just doesnt seem to be the main agenda there and they have sold out!
So i would be a little more dissapointed with stevie if he did leave us he went there!

In fact i think things are on the up here and as a LFC fan why would you want to go anywhere else!
I think he just might stay!

I hope so but if not we will still go forward under RAFA!

Heh heh - I'm delighted that the Fowler rumours have started.

What people should get their heads round is that if we sign Fowler in January, there'll also be another signing for up front.

Think about it - Baros and, for the sake of argument, Morientes as first choice, and then a real fox in the box like Fowler as first reserve. LFC would not sign Fowler at the moment as one of their first choice strike pairing.

Christ, can you imagine how charged the the crowd would get when he gets off the bench just to warm up? Even if his fitness DIDN'T improve, as an option for the last 30 mins of games, he'd be worth buying. Henry aside, I can't think of another player in world football that I'd want to be in the middle when we're in need of a goal and we're pumping cross after cross into the box.

Sheringham showed for years that you don't need to be a greyhound to get goals, and I can honestly see Fowler doing that kind of job for us if he came in. We keep saying that we never adequately replaced Litmanen - what if it turns out we had a pseudo-replacement for that kind of role under our noses all the time?

Yes please Rafa!

The hairs on my arms stand on end thinking of Fowler in the Red shirt once again.

He's not the same player, but I think the hunger would come back to him.  Just imagine it!!!

Its a romantic thought lads an ladies but i simply can't see Benitez going for him. Maybe if we had a scouse manager with years of history at the club. Plus i like to remember Robbie that way he was. Would hate to see him come back as a pale shadow of himself.

A pale shadow of the Robbie Fowler of days gone by still p*sses over most of the English strikers out there.

It may be the lowest form of wit, but it doesn't mean it's not funny!
