The only problem with rumours is that it does exactly what is say's on the tin! it's a Rumour.

If he left then the pundit's would have a thrill day in saying we can't keep our best players and you would also get "as i said when the season started" Rodney Marsh putting his two pence in,I'm just fed up with the whole senario.

It seems like nowadays nobody has anything encouraging to say about LFC except the Family US people who love the club.

Anyway time will tell if we have to get ready for another blow to be shoved in our faces by appossing supporters and the media alike. :(

no use getting worried about rumours anyway, call me mad or an old romantic, but i'd still love to see robbie back ,don't think it would be much of a risk.

I think rafa hit it on the head with his statement yestarday anyway, he said over emilyn Hughes if only players had the same passion but unfortunatly money has spoiled the game, with players demands and running of clubs.

A rumour is only a rumour but no point in shooting Lynds guys, she's only passing it on. To be truthful, I think the Stevie bit is just a matter of time. Not only is he a great player, he is also exactly the sort of great player they need. You don't need to be playing Champ' man or talking to STU to realise they need someone to put their foot in and control the game in midfield. The key is that this time we must make sure we get a realistic fee. I've said it before on here that given Stevies age, ability and how much they need him, bidding should not be concluded at less than 50 million, and yes I mean pounds.
On the question of Robbie, nobody would argue he was anything other than brilliant but now? just can't see it myself.

I don't think Stevie will go in January - I reckon he'll give it a go till the end of the season, but agree it's only a matter of time - unless we get our act together a little bit more over the next couple of months and he can see the potential with his partnership with Alonso etc + what RAFA is trying to do.

I'd love to see Fowler back at Anfield, I reckon just being on the bench & doing his warm up's - he'd be a breath of fresh air for the crowd and really get them going.

But honestly - the head says his time has been and gone.

I seriously doubt that Gerrard will leave. Chelsea offered big time cash and he turned them down, if Madrid are going to sign Gerrard they are going to have to offer more than what Chelsea did and I do not see that happening. Madrid are in a ****** hole .

Good point . But Wether or not Madrid are playing bad its still the pinnacle among players .Its understandable really .But personally im not too bothered .Of course i want him to stay but its like a relationship and you keep hearing hes going to walk out ,it gets tiring.I think most fans know we have the best manager and nowatter who comes or goes-we will reign again.

What everyone forgets is that SG said he was close to joining another club in the summer, why wouldn't he change his mind if a club like Real come in for him :(

Regards to Robbie, I'd love to see tha lad back in a red shirt as long as he worked his socks off and lost about 2 stone cos we haven't replaced him since he left :(

yeah, i keep hearing the fowler rumour. Don't really want it to happen. Fowler has to be the most gifted striker i have seen,  from his 5 goals against fulham to his 5 min hatrick against arsenal. Will he be able to top or even match that when he returns ? My heart & head give contrasting answers.

As for gerrard going, if real gives us excess of 35 million pounds (not euros) + morientas, i would be happy to do businese. Gerrard is unreplaceable, but 30 million pounds can buy us 4 to 5 quality players.

My uncle's chatroom buddy's neighbour's cousin told him that we are close to re-signing Ian Rush and John Aldridge, just so that Robbie will feel more at home. ... but anyway, it is just a rumour!
