Souness's Hitachi shirt is the best. Blood red, simple but superbly effective.

I don't know Reg ,is it too much ,or perhaps a touch unrealistic to expect our next design to evoke a similar feeling of 'THAT'S THE DOG *****' when we first view it ?
Some of my most vivid memories are watching the lads take to the lush green turf of Anfield wearing the new strip ,and being in absolute awe of 11 Titans.

I'd rush out the Boys pen to meet my Dad who had been in the Kop and we'd talk about the game we had just seen ,then whilst tucking into a Wimpy in town ,I would wait
for him to mention the new kit ...then the long silence as we finished our burgers and he would eventually say " I will get you one lad " ,now some say Hitchcock was the
master of suspense ,but they obviously hadn't met my dad ,who could push you to the absolute precipice standing teetering on the edge , bated breath all that separated
you from the fall ,and only then with the timing and deadpan delivery of a seasoned comedian would release you from your torture.
