We will never win it as long as we keep selling our best players.
Why doesn't anyone understand that?
Under Houllier we finished second, Anelka came in and game us another dimension and gave the squad extra quality. Instead of adding him and a few otheres we decided to go for the cheap option then fell away and got nowhere near the league title again.
Under the spaniard we finished second. He then in his wisdom decided to let his ego rule and "fu*ked" off our best pure midfield player and one of the best we've had in a long time as well as failing to replace Hyypia. Funnily enough, after selling two of our best players we went backwards, again and never recovered.
Now under Rodgers, we've again just sold our best player after a phenominal season and finishing second...
The future will most likely be the same as it the past.
The reason we've never won the league is because when we've had class players we've always sold one to buy one. Had we kept Torres, Alonso, Mascherano, Reina and the likes I'm pretty sure we'd have won a couple by now. Instead, we only seem to want to have one class player in the side at a time, which is very odd. My attitutde was always to have as many as possible.
