Liverpool FC target Divock Origi has told press in his homeland that he will sort his future out in the coming weeks.

The Reds have agreed a fee with the Belgian's club Lille, but there has been late interest in his services from Tottenham Hotspur, among other clubs.

The 19-year-old scored five goals in Ligue 1 last term but rose to prominence at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil with a number of eye-catching performances.

Divock Origi: All you need to know about the Reds target

Origi was honoured in his hometown of  Houthalen-Helchteren for his performances in Brazil and he admitted he has yet to make a decision on where he will be playing his football next season.

He said: "I myself am still thinking about it.

"It is true that there are offers from all over Europe. Now I have to look carefully where I will grow as a player and as a person. I think there will be clearer. Within two weeks of the most."

Me neither, I don't really see him ousting Sturridge out of the team so that would be another £10m sitting on the bench (or out on loan).
I know I sound like a broken record but next season when we come to play City, Chelsea, Arsenal and United etc what's the use of having £60m worth of average players sitting on the bench when that money could have been spent on a James Rodriguez or Julian Draxler who would be on the pitch helping us out.

Italian outfit Roma are reportedly confident of beating Liverpool to the signing of Bayern Munich attacker Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Swiss international is widely expected to depart the Allianz Areana this summer in search of regular first-team football.

Liverpool had been strongly linked with a move as they prepare to replace the outgoing Luis Suarez, but according to the Daily Star, Roma have submitted an opening offer in the region of £15m.

However, it is understood that Bayern are looking for closer to £20m.

Tim Pearson...

The latest piece of news coming from the #LFC camp is that Enner Valencia's representatives have been contacted over a potential move.

James Pearce of Liverpool Echo has clarified the Origi situation

Divock Origi was at Melwood today to meet the manager and discuss personal terms. He's considering his options. No medical scheduled. #LFC
